Handheld Four-Function Calculators for FAST Grade 6 Mathematics
The following are FDOE-approved four-function calculators for the 2024-25 school year:
- Texas Instruments TI-108
- Casio HS-4G
- Sharp EL233SB
Schools may use calculators not on this list if district mathematics specialists determine they meet the specifications below. FDOE will not review or approve additional models not listed above. Students are not allowed to share calculators. Not every test item will require the use of a calculator.
Students will need access to the following calculator functions:
- Addition
- Subtraction
- Multiplication
- Division
- Square root
- Percentage
Parentheses, change sign (plus/minus), and memory buttons are allowable.
Students may not use a handheld calculator that has any of the following functionalities:
- Tax rate button
- Mark up
- Grand total
Handheld Scientific Calculators for FSA/FAST/B.E.S.T. Mathematics
(FSA Algebra 1 EOC Retake, Grades 7-8 FAST Mathematics, B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 and B.E.S.T. Geometry EOCs)
The following are FDOE-approved scientific calculators for the 2024-25 school year:
- Texas Instrument TI-30xa
- Casio fs-260 solar
- Casio fs-82 solar
- Sharp EL-510R
- Sharp EL-510RN
Schools may use calculators not on this list if district mathematics specialists determine they meet the specifications below. FDOE will not review or approve additional models not listed above. Calculators are only allowed for assessments and sessions where they are expressly permitted. Students are not allowed to share calculators. Not every test item will require the use of a calculator.
